Book: Moira's Moon

A few of the Illustrations i created for the children's book 'Moira's Moon' written by Joelie Croser and published by Era Publications (2018). Graphite linework with digital colouring.

'Moira's Moon' is a reader for teaching children aged 3-4yo phonic sounds, and is about Moira the fruit bat who's best friend is the moon. She feels afraid when the moon gets hidden behind the clouds one night, but takes comfort knowing when the clouds clear the moonlight will return. The book included spot illustrations on the left side of the spreads featuring the different moon phases and the activity in the skies each night. The right spreads were full page illustrations, in-line with the layout of the rest of the Phonic Series.
